I don't know what to say about this trailer. Check out the promo for David Alan Grier's new comedy, Chocolate News. I have always liked Grier from his early days with Robert Townsend to his "I've arrived" era on In Living Color with Keenan Ivory Wayans and Damon Wayans. But there's something about this trailer that doesn't sit well with me.
Maybe it's the old shtick of cooning and buffooning that has me scratching my head. No need to debunk any stereotypes here, especially since Grier appears to have pulled out all stops in that department. I guess I'll have to tune in to see how far Grier has grown or sunk as an actor/comedian.

Yeah Ummmmm... no thanks! David is doing a little bit too much! I bet it won't last more than a couple episodes. If it does, then we all should be very afraid!
