Christmas: The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

I'm so excited about Christmas that I put out my decorations two weeks before Thanksgiving. That's a record for me.  Woo Hoo!

The State of Being Thankful

Doing good deeds doesn't always translate to folks being thankful for what you've done or are doing for them. Assistance comes in many forms but is not always appreciated by those whom you are trying to assist. Funny, isn't it? What I'm learning is that I have to give without expecting anything in return, even if it means that the receiver doesn't learn the lesson intended from my "gift", "assistance" or "help". 

I'm thankful for another teachable moment and I'm also thankful for family, friends and trials. Each one has a way of testing our love, strength, and courage.
